Wendigo Tales: Season 3—The Last Parsec

The Last Parsec: ScrappedThe Last Parsec: The SearchersWant to learn about The Last Parsec before the Kickstarter begins? Our own Shane Hensley brings you The Searchers. Nick Garron got his crew off the Niccolo before it cracked apart, but there was a cost to having only one escape pod. The searchers are trapped on a hot jungle planet with a terrible secret and no way home. Will they be torn apart, brought together, or something else that even the team’s psychic didn’t see coming?

Cameron Dayton (writer and story developer, including Blizzard Entertainment and Chair Entertainment) shines a light on space salvage operations in Scrapped. Captain Cherokee Meier has hit the mother lode, an entire fleet of derelict ships. As the first buzzards to the kill, his crew is sitting pretty, but there are other problems at hand. Can the crew keep it together even as they tear the fleet apart?

More for ETU: Jack’s Back One Sheet and Spanish Character Sheets

Jack's Back One Sheet for ETURemember when we promised that we’d be releasing some more One-Sheets for East Texas University? We don’t kid around with Kickstarter commitments like that, and it’s time for the latest installment—Jack’s Back! Jack Brown returns to ETU after a few decades off. This time is going to be different, though—and different it is! But something strange is going on in his dorm, and it’s up to you to set things right.

What with East Texas University being so close to the border and all, it only seems fair to offer a Spanish ETU Character Sheet! It’s always great to see our friends in gaming using the Free Fan License to not only make wonderful things for your Savage Worlds games, but to share them with others. You folks really are the best!

Deadlands Gets Bigger at Visionary Comics!

Deadlands in Visionary ComicsThe wide open plains of Deadlands’ Weird West are gettin’ even wider over at Visionary Comics. The folks at Visionary are nearly twice as many as they once were, with a near-doubling of their staff, and they’ve also added Jeff Mariotte (comic writer and author) and our own Shane Hensley (creator of Deadlands) to the team, expanding Deadlands in comics and prose alike!

Visionary will be working with IDW Publishing to publish their first trade, Dead Man’s Hand, collecting the Deadlands one-shots published by Visionary and Image Comics. These collect all of the “All-Star Westerns” into one volume.

There will also be a new line of novels published by Tor Books coming later next year. The first three books will be by New York Times best-selling authors Jonathan Maberry, Seanan McGuire, and Jeff Mariotte. Release dates are not available yet, but production is hummin’ right along!

And even with all that going on, Deadlands is still in active development for a live-action TV series—more details to come as we have them available.

It’s high time you join us on the High Plains!

A Thule and His Money: New Pulp Adventure from Silver Gryphon

A Thule and His Money from Silver Gryphon GamesWellstone City, 1937. A name you can’t quite place is throwing around a lot of money to get a job done. It’s a job you can do, and it’s money you’d like. All you’ve got to do is get some crusty antique thing away from some crusty antique guy, then catch a zeppelin to Greece.

But nothing stays simple. Pretty soon, you’re in the middle of multiple secret societies, G-men, and double agents. Everyone is selling some sort of truth about what’s going on. The question is, can you pay the price when you choose?

A Thule and His Money comes with two full maps from Fabled Environments (including the massive zeppelin that may well be the scene of an equally massive fight over a ridiculously massive ocean) and an exciting beginning that doesn’t involve a bar. Seriously, aside from brass knuckles, how can you beat that?
